The school district income tax is administered by the State of Ohio.

Village of Fort Recovery Tax Rate is 1% Phone: (419) 375-4580

Around two to four weeks after you move into the limits of Fort Recovery,

you will receive an Individual Questionnaire from the Village of Fort

Recovery Tax Department. You are asked to fill in the questionnaire and

mail it back to the tax office in two weeks.

Garbage pick-up is 7:00 AM on Tuesdays. You need to purchase the garbage

bags at Wayne IGA grocery store, Big Al’s carryout, or at the Shell Party Mart.

Recycling pick-up is 7:00 AM on Wednesday. You need to purchase the

recycling bags at the stores listed above.

Yard waste is picked up the same time as the recycling. You also need to

purchase the yard waste bags from Wayne IGA or Shell Party Mart.

COMMERCIAL

Commercial users may subscribe to other sanitation companies.

FORT RECOVERY CLEAN-UP DAY

In the early spring, usually on Saturday, a clean-up day is scheduled. A truck will pick up most anything except for a short list of items not accepted at the landfill. Watch for the schedule.
